I saw Tera Melos live once. They played before Maps&Atlases. There was a crowd that came explicitly for them and left after they finished -- terrifying mob, with giant earrings and nose rings wearing bizarre clothing. The band itself played an ugly wall of sound for about half an hour. At one point someone asked them if they could talk about their pedals for a bit, and the frontman just pointed to all of them and then said "and there's one behind the kick drum" with a completely dry expression.

Thankfully M&A and the Globes (who played before Tera) made for a great show.

lol Nick Reinhart is great. I'm sorry you don't get his brand of humor.

Tera Melos really has lost their way a bit though over the years. They used to be rocking, and now they just don't seem to have much of anything to say.

Also mathrock has to be the shittiest genre title ever. If my band was ever called that I would be sad.
