How is this ranked in AT's discog?
It's polarizing. I personally like it but some people hate it while others say it's his best.
Has some moments but it's inconsistent as a wholeRichard D. James album can get tiring, but it's probably his most solid effort as well as the first two SAWs
It's my favorite Aphex Twin release. Just something so cozy about it. It's repetitive, but I like repetitive music.
>>55677636I think RDJ album is too calm imo. Sounds more like an album made by Stars of the Lid than AT.
It has some of his best tracks on it, but for some reason half of it is pretty forgettable. The tracks on RDJ album are more memorable for me for some reason. I'd say I Care is right in the middle.
>>55677671>RDJ album>sounds more like something by Stars of The LidI think you're confusing RDJ with SAW II - Stars of The Lid would never bust out scatter beats and layered synths like in Richard D. James album.
this one and drukqs are my favorites.i guess people don't like it because it's inconsistent? I dunno. I love that shit.you can't fuck with icct hedral
>>55677584mookid is my fav afx track, is so fucking emotional man
First or second. Only bad track is come on you slags.
>>55677777
>>55677584next heap with is my favorite afx song
>>55677584best aphex album imo
>>55677584It's a great album and it really has its own feel. It's unique in his discog (then again what album isn't)I wouldn't rank it top 5 for me. Probably top 10 thoughdrukqs, rdj album, rushup edge, analords etc. are just too fucking good on a whole nother level.
>>55677769this holy fuck mookid is great (not my favorite though). alberto balsam is great too.i love so many tracks on this album but for some reason the album as a whole just doesn't stick out for me compared to the ones i mentioned above
really underrated.
It's very silly
