Can you guys suggest some more good 60s bands to listen to?
Preferably psychedelic but I don't mind

I've got all of Jefferson Airplane, Incredible string band, The Beatles, Hendrix, Lovin Spoonful, Animals, Pink Floyd, Cream, Grateful Dead, Bee Gees (only their "1st" album, Joplin, the easybeats.

Listen to some of The Kinks and The Zombies back catalouges.

Let me say though, just listen to The Beatles starting with Help!, then Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Peppers, Magical Mystery Tour, The White Album, Abbey Road, Let It Be, then Paul's first solo album "McCartney", then Plastic Ono Band, Ram, Imagine, Wings Wild Life, Mind Games, Band On The Run... do this until you don't want to listen to solo John and Paul anymore. I stop at Double Fantasy and Tug of War. All Things Must Pass, Cloud 9, and Ringo are also worth throwing in there if the trip is long enough.

The Doors debut, "Strange Days" and "L.A. Woman"
The Monks (great Garage Rock and early Proto-Punk)
The Sonics (also Garage Rock)
The Small Faces (great British psychedelic band with a confusing discography, "Ogdens Nut Gone Flake" is essential)
Deep Purples first few albums are some great Psychadelic/Progressive/Hard Rock albums as well
The Monkees, once they actually wrote their own songs, have quite a few gems in their discography ("Head" for example is a fantastic psychadelic soundtrack album)
The Beach Boys have a few masterpieces as well

Becasue they are not that good, they are only decent (and a bob dylan cover band).

Just because one of their most famous songs is a Bob Dylan cover doesn't really make them a cover band, or is Jimi Hendrix the Bob Dylan cover negro? Pretty clueless claims.
