>> No.55561644

>>55561629
And neither one of you realized that nobody gives a shit and the Swans meme is dead?

>> No.55561652

>2 people make swans thread
>XD NO ONE LIKES SWANS RIGHT????

>> No.55561658

I'm hyped through the roof
Been listening to all of Swans' material on repeat the last month
Crossing my fingers for another 2 hour lp

>> No.55561662

>>55561616
I just hope Mikey won't lose it and this is not just a sequel to TBK in the making. He can't do this to me. This has to be a noise opera, brutal post-avant dreamfunk or whatever else, eveything but settling in a comfort zone.

>> No.55561692

>>55561662
TBK was already a downgrade from The Seer, and we already know what at least half of this kinda sorta maybe sounds like, so Im willing to bet it will be more of the same of what we got on TBK tbh, but Frankie M and one of the songs theyve been playing more recently are incredible.
Also dont get me wrong, TBK is amazing, I just prefer The Seer, thats all.

>> No.55561704

>>55561662
I saw them just after the release of TBK last year and black hole man / frankie m sounded kinda similar to stuff on TBK, but still really good.

I hope those tracks have evolved over the past year.

>> No.55561720

>>55561704
They will evolve even more in the studio.
Plus there will probably be 3 to 5 songs that were never and will never be performed live.

>> No.55561731

>>55561692
Both The Seer and TBK are highest tier, but Gira will let me down nastily if he doesn't make any serious shift on the next album.

>> No.55561740

That live rendition of A Little God in my Hands is amazing, I'm pumped to see them in the Roundhouse this month
Jesus, it's this month already, I booked those tickets as soon as they were available, time flies

>> No.55561746

>>55561740
Have fun anon. Wish I could be there. They said on FB this is their biggest UK show to date.

>Live Swans LP with full Orchestra when?

>> No.55561748

The only Swans song I ever liked/remember is No Cure for the Lonely. How pleb am I?

>> No.55561754

>>55561748
No cure for your plebness.

>> No.55561765

>Frankie M
>The Cloud of Unknowing
>Don't Go/I Forget
>Black Hole Man

>Good live recordings for the fundraiser album, and potential studio versions

OH MY FUCKING FUUUCK
But let's be real here, it's not like this wasn't expected based on the recent cycle they've been on. But my hype is through the roof nonetheless.

>> No.55561797

>>55561746
I hope it is a huge scale, the big noise bit in "little god" would have been even better with the synths that are there in the song
I'm pumped, but earplugs at the ready friends

>> No.55561884

>>55561629
Well whose thread has more replies, FAGGOT?

>>55561633
You are very much out of the loop.

>>55561662
>noise opera
Holy shit I would love this so much. I'd love to see a SFTB Pt. II.

>> No.55563201

They'll release the next album then retire

>> No.55563274

>>55563201
Gira's getting pretty old, but I doubt it. He's got quite a few years left in him I think. And even then I can still see him doing low-key solo releases.

>> No.55563282

when will swans just do more shit like filth, cop or public castration

>> No.55563414

>another fundraiser
Michael pls. I already gave you $500, what more do you waaaant

>> No.55563459
