Hey guys, just out of curiosity (don't hurt me), but why do you fucking need reviewers? It's not like reviewing a movie. Why are you listening to these faggots making easy bucks and not listening to the music they're talking about? You'd be smarter if you did. just sayin', gtfo and listen.

This kind of hatred stems from a personal experience where I encountered a co-worker who was talking up a band and literally cited an entire paragraph off some jerk-off's "review." Though he couldn't name off a single song on the album except their single. Seriously, this guy went on about his favorite band but "i don't know the title man, i just know the song." The whole moment was cringe.

Mainly, it's just fun to watch, and get some other guy's perspective. Hearing music lovers talk about the music they love (or hate, in SOME cases) is pretty great.

Same reason I'm on /mu/. I don't NEED your opinions/shitposts/recs, but hey, it's fun, so who cares? And if you don't enjoy it, well, good for you, but there's nothing wrong with other people enjoying it.

There's a reason why you review music and gives opinions, they have the right too. It allows criticism on a certain products AS you have already paid for it. If its good stuffs, publicity, bad stuffs, also publicity but also warned others that their money is worth something else.

Maybe because every piece of art can't be judged on an autistic, 1-10 value system. Which is also why music reviews in general are worthless. Reviews should be telling you what's new, what's interesting or what's groundbreaking. If it's neither of those things, it can be ignored.

Every piece of art has its place and people that enjoy it should be able to enjoy it. The world would be better if we didn't have angry, talentless assholes ripping apart everything they don't like.
