What's your favorite Deerhunter album /mu/?

>> No.55544745

Microcastle + Weird Era Cont. but only if you count them as a single release.

Otherwise I would go with Halcyon Digest.

Cryptograms forfuckingever

Microcastle is one of my all-time favourite albums, but I care very little about the rest of their work. I don't know how I feel about this.

Halcyon Digest

but Atlas Sound - Logos is better than everything they've done I think

Spooky Action at a Distance > Logos

not even close, I like Lotus Plaza and that album a ton but his stuff comes nowhere near Bradford's in terms of composition and songwriting

Well looks we have a difference of opinion friend
Cox is definitely a more sophisticated songwriter composition wise, but I find myself enjoying Pundt's work more consistently. There are too many 'misses' in Atlas Sound's releases and not enough 'hits', imo. Both are very talented though

Parallax is better

microcastle/weird era cont and they should be listened to together and wit the rainwater EP

to me those three have the most coninuity in sound/creativity, but turn it up faggot, flourescent grey EP, cryptograms HC all have their moments

im hoping they get back to the ambient punk sound
