So, I think we can all agree OK Computer is the best album ever, right?

>> No.55500393

Not even Radiohead's best album which is undisputably Kid A.

OK Computer is good, but has about 1/3 of the amazing atmosphere Kid A has.

>> No.55500536

>>55500393
And I'm even gonna go out on a limb and say that In Rainbows was a better realization of what was started in Kid A. Though if you're more a fan of 90s Britpop, Ok Computer is the "better album."

Have you heard all the albums ever made OP? No.
Is music subjective?
No.

Therefore, OK Computer is not the best album ever.

Justin Bieber is popular and worth hearing, everything else is shit, and that's why it's not popular.....

You're in the Radiohead fanboy phase, it's normal. Once you hit your twenties and start digging you'll laugh at how you thought OK Computer was the best of all time

>So you're saying theres no possibility someone appreciating lots of music and still considering radiohead to be great, even though hes agreeing with a huge majority? wat get off your hihg horse, ive no doubt listened to more music than some idiot bashing a popular band, if not the most popular band
I am not bashing Radiohead. In fact y Radiohead collection is probably one of the biggest on /mu/. Saying they are the greatest thing ever though is just silly, considering how they are just a big pop melter of more complex genres that a typical Radiohead fan doesn't even bother exploring.

>> No.55500909

>>55500858
I have explored those genres, what the fuck. Radiohead being a sorta melting pot is exactly the reason its so good. You feel cognitive dissonance because it sounds like alot of things at once, very clever melodies, etc

btw im only saying ok computer is the best album, not that radiohead is a perfect band or anything

OK, instead of arguing with you and your b8 I'll just say this.
See, my problem with you is that you are saying that it is the "greatest of all time" instead my "favorite of all time". It cannot be the greatest if everyone doesn't consider it to be the greatest.

>There's absolutely no filler on 'thriller' at all, wtf are you smoking, its the best of its year for a reason and not to mention best sold album of all time

http://www.clickhole.com/article/oral-history-radioheads-ok-computer-2370

>Colin Greenwood: There’s one show from that tour that comes to mind. We were in the middle of an encore of “No Surprises” and Thom went into the audience. Thom drifts into the middle of this crowd of 10,000 or so people, and he just starts burrowing into the ground. Like, really tunneling. And as the song goes on he’s getting deeper, and people are following him down there. Eventually, the whole audience had followed him down into that bottomless hole, and we were all alone onstage. Three days later, Thom emerged alone from the tunnel cradling a dove, nobody else with him. Actually, no one from that audience was ever seen again. That was an amazing show.
