Nick Cave can sing bass all the way up to some of the notes in the alto range.Bono and Sting are similar but about an octave higher -- whatever you may think of them, it's truly a gift to sing like them, though it's not legendary (Mariah Carey for example, though awful, can hit something insane like 5+ octaves naturally).
