Inverse, OP.I tend to assume attractive people make bad music. I've certainly been proven wrong, and I don't think the correlation really holds any weight. But yeah, a lot of amazing musicians are ugly motherfuckers, and they seem to like it fine that way.
No, not really. Honestly most of the musicians I listen to are unattractive. Also I'd most likely bang 2/4 of Animal Collective. Maybe 3/4 if I'm feeling generous.

I didn't even know what James Murphy looked like until just before I listened to This Is Happening. Even after listening to every album before it, I had a hard time matching that voice to his face. Now I can't imagine anyone else singing these songs.

If one can't even put effort to make themselves not look that horrendous, since eating well and not looking like an idiot is not at all difficult, I don't expect any more effort in their music. There are a lot of ugly classical composers, but you can tell they have spent a lifetime of dedication learning their craft and care about how they present themselves.
