they're very middle of the road

i never considered blur as a band with great albums, but their singles mostly range from good to great. i won't probably check this album out, tho.

Don't really see how you can say the last half is uninteresting or corny. They were going through a similar phase as Radiohead at a similar time, so not sure how you say they're copying. There's plenty of pop on ok computer too. Blur is more influenced by American music than Radiohead was.

Blur is probably the most unoriginal band to garner critical praise.
