Which decade was the worst decade for hiphop and why was it the 2000s?

>Sales started to decrease
>90s rappers turned into shit ex. Warren G, DJ Quik, Mack 10, Ice Cube, Dr Dre, NaS etc.
>Most songs had repetitive cheesy awful beats
>Lyrics were all about bling bling and clingy as fuck ex.
>Every rapper felt the need to buy overly fitted clothes and jewelry
>Album art was too cheesy it looked like it was made by a 5 year old using MS paint
>Rise of 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy, Kanye West
