Whenever I see an opportunity to, I will spam my own music and samefag to the extreme. I also meme-spam in threads that I don't like in hopes it gets the thread deleted.

I think that hiphop isn't music and has no place on this board, and that it needs its own board or it should just go to /b/. Hiphop is such a low-effort genre with such a large output, it's suffocating this board.

I also think that any mention of Vektroid should result in a ban, not because I hate trans people, but because it isn't music discussion, it is meme spamming.

Most of these aren't dark secrets, just edgy opinions, but whatever.

I lack a lot of basic knowledge on music; there are dozens of classics I haven't listened to, I can't count rhythms or recognize instruments, and even though I've looked it up several times now I keep forgetting what the difference between mixing, mastering and producing is.

I hate most metal, especially death and black, I hate the over-emphasis on technicality (Not that technicality is a bad thing, I just hate the fact that it's the end all be all in most sub-genres of metal). I also think that the vast majority of the metal culture/community is really insular, refusing to listen or even think of any other genre as good.

I've always wanted to hunker down and start making electronic music, and even have a Microkorg and Ableton, but lack the motivation to do so.

I feel like my music should be respected more. When I post my music here I really hope that someone picks it up and calls it their AOTY. But i'm not big headed enough to spam to fuck and become a meme like some guys. Actually, sometimes I hate my music. Why would anyone listen to it. Fuck.

I hear you there. I feel incredibly demotivated to extreme metal because of the things it emphasizes. In a sea of overly technical music, nothing really is memorable to me personally. It's like some of these bands are afraid to introduce a bit of melody, harmony or even anything to make their music more catchy or even remotely memorable. Fuck, if you're going to make badass overly technical metal, at least make your riffs, lyrics or drumming memorable in any way, rather than just playing as technical and fast as possible.
