I can't get enough of Clarence Clarity's No Now. Its genius. After the listener familiarizes with it after five listens or so.. you pick up on its nuances. How it teases the most accessible track (Cancer in the Water™) throughout the album. How the only way to avoid its unsettling ending is to keep the album on repeat. How its moments of glitched out shit is literally the sound of destroying his pop songs. How he packaged the vinyl as a gatefold that is completely blank when you open it. This album knows what the listener wants and makes strides to deny you of it. Its basically musical blue balls.
