Got my first record player with a lot of vinyls. Some brand new ones, others original 1970 prints. I began to play a brand new record on it after testing one song and they sounded fine. But after 5 songs, the pitch began to waver up and down. Tested it again with the song "Blue Velvet" and you can hear the strings go up and down. I've been told that you need to wear the needle in but I'm worried that this will just ruin a record.

tl:dr Pitch wavering after playing 15 minutes of vinyl, do I need to wear in the needle.

Not a stylus problem. It's probably something internal. How old is the tt?

(also don't call them vinyls please)

first off that player looks like a piece of shit
second, its vinyl not vinyls
third, "wearing in the needle" doesn't exist
forth, make sure the records are clean
if you dont know how to clean a vinyl album look it up proper.
fifth, kill yourself

If that's your TT in the picture, it's probably a result of shoddy manufacturing. Multi-use units like that are generally pretty bad.

Could be very low frequency feedback. If you have the controls to do so, try putting the cover on before dropping the needle.
