This has some groovy Billy Higgins and Lee Morgan so it's pretty awesome. But I just deleted "Workout" (1961) because I found it boring as shit. Even if it has a stellar lineup, it just doesn't swing very much, as opposed to Dipping. So I advice checking out a few of his albums

Probably because the need for improvisational freedom in jazz stunts it's structural depth, reducing the chord progressions and ostinatos to mind numbing repetition in most cases.
Because the only jazz I liked was acid jazz and I forgot which bands or interpreters I liked the most.
