Naw, I just got new headphones last week and my retardation has forced me to test out dozens of songs from dozens of albums and it's not the case with every one of them.
Though it's pretty nice that I can actually hear the differences and detail in the mixing now, the last pair I had I just sandwiched everything together and the bass was just about inaudible.
