Hey /mu/, what's similar to this in being extremely relaxing and gentle? I need something to lay in bed and fall asleep to while coming down from opiates. Anything super mellow and relaxing.

Weeknd or PARTYNEXTDOOR tend to work.

Thanks for the input, great contribution.

Am familiar with both, actually looking for something even more mellow and relaxing. Something really comfy.

Just looking for something different.

Are you looking for something similar or just calming/gentle music?

Either, really.. Preferably something mainly about love. The slight psychedelia in the production is also a huge plus, I love that cloudy atmospheric sound, my favorite part of the album being the beginning of Thinkin Bout You.

Something similar to this could work too, although I'm not particularly fond of the xx... or something similar to Grizzly Bear's song Ready, Able.

Try Youth Lagoon, The Year of Hibernation is more accessible but either of their first two albums are neat. The Postal Service's only album is a given. Not much of a focus on love in a positive sense, but those are all very gentle

Sweet, I already have all three albums you just mentioned, but never really listened to any of them. Thanks.

Still open to any other suggestions, wanna collect some more of this type of music, I love relaxing music.

This is interesting, not exactly what I'm looking for right now but I'm downloading it anyway because I really like it.

>>55138743
This is good too, thanks.

I'm looking more for stuff with primarily electronic production, though. Another track that is an example of the style I'm looking for is Blood Orange's "You're Not Good Enough". When the beat kicks in on "These Walls" on To Pimp A Butterfly is also in the ballpark, as well as some cLOUDDEAD's tracks. Looking for heavily atmospheric stuff, very mellow, slightly psychedelic sounding. Sorry if I'm being over-the-top picky, I just have a very specific sound in mind that I'm craving right now.

Everyone's recommendations have been good so far though, so thanks to everyone who posted.

As the album goes in it gets more and more ambient, they have a very chill sound

your words made me think of memory tapes's seek magic and Ricky eat acid's three love songs. Oh, and infected mushroom's second disk of converting vegetarians (skip the first track)

Just skimmed through this on YT and it sounds really cool, don't know how I've never heard of it before. Downloading now.

Reminds be of Boards of Canada which is a very good thing. Also downloading.
