There are people on /mu/ who think that the two people in this image are the same person.
>inb4 aging
Look at Ringo Starr and George Harrison as they got older; they still look like the same person.

Thanks for replying. Do you actually think that the two people in the pic are the same person?

I don't really care whether they're the same person or not. If the original Paul really did die, "Faul" is 1000x better

You don't even need to do any facial analysis to see that the two people in the original pic don't look like the same person.

Are you meaning to say to me that Paul McCartney was eaten by a reptilian shapeshifter in an hours-long ritual and was then replaced by said reptilian shapeshifter in order to inflict massive thought propaganda upon Planet Earth?

In that case, yes.

the nose does look different actually

I said nothing about reptiles and rituals; just that the two people in the pic are not the same person.

Yes, both are talentless

>> No.54907088

Why would they do it? I mean what's the point?

Maybe Paul died (there were rumors of him dying in a car crash in 1967, before the rumors really became big in 1969/1970), maybe he wanted to retire and The Beatles wanted to continue, but felt that they wouldn't be accepted as The Beatles without Paul, who knows.

>> No.54907214

>>54907172
yeah i guess no one would speak up ever about it at all. like they must have paid paul's dad to keep his mouth shut that they murdered his son so that The Beatles can make money or something. the other beatles couldn't be bothered with convincing real paul to just hold on for a year or two, because seven years is such a LONG time for a musical career and that just would be impossible.

we'd have to kill him.

>> No.54907333

I mean the album clues suggest he is dead, and the facial analysis suggest there are differences.

But in my opinion, since the Beatles were under controversy of the whole "Bigger than Jesus." statement and everybody followed the trend of making an even of burning their albums in a bonfire, they had to have some sort of way to maintain interest after they stopped touring.

Live entertainment was the shit in the 1960's, so after the public vilified the Beatles how else are they to keep interest? So they created a hoax involving cryptic messages and subtle imagery to create an urban legend surrounding the death of Paul McCartney.

Because if some faggy pop artist now a days did that (like One Direction with retard leaving, or whatever.) People would follow them even more than they already do.

It just makes perfect sense if you consider this.

There was this guy who was writing a book on the Beatles who was murdered before the book was released, and the book never was released. Some people think that he was going to reveal what happened to Paul, and was killed before he had the chance.
Fear is a strong tool; it's not hard to believe that it could be used to keep many people silent about Paul's death. Also, if Paul's dad had spoken up about his son, people would just write him off as crazy.

>> No.54907372

>>54907333
great analysis and realistic. it's most likely what happened and that'll probably be canon.

music business is a business after all.

>> No.54907397

>>54907370
they wouldn't write him off as crazy. you're completely ignoring the humanity of epstein, lennon, harrison, ringo, martin, and their old hometown friends that they would keep in touch with and even hire to be servicemen in their mansions. i don't think fear has anything to do with it. you're just not very intelligent.

Sure they would. There's actually some guy who was well known (I think he was a comedian; can't remember his name) who thought that his wife and kid were replaced by look alike's. Rather than people considering the possibility, he was put in prison (not therapy), where he still remains. Really wish I could remember his name.

>> No.54907479

>>54907443
okay thats fine. i'd believe that. but paul's dad wouldn't remain silent. you're also completely ignoring the fact their hometown friends kept in touch with them til the end of their career. I'm sure if i cared enough i could dig up so many other loopholes and enough numbers in the equation to prove how far fetched this is.

fag.

who? source? anything? No rough drafts or leaks? Seems like more buzz around the subject to keep people interested 40+ years later.

>>54907372
Indeed, it is a business. Kind of like how Honey Pie kept that weird scream in Love Rollercoaster and insisted that it was a woman getting burnt by hot honey, or got slaughtered, whichever legend you choose.

When it really was Billy Beck.

I can't remember his name. I knew it, he was a well known comedian, and there are plenty of sources. It's understandable that you'd ignore that part, since I can't pull up any evidence right now.

I'll throw some names out there that I think would be crazy enough to do something like this.

I don't know dude, you piqued my curiosity.

There's a mental disorder where people think that people they're close to are replaced with look alike's. This guy supposedly had it; the suspicion arises from him being placed in prison as opposed to a mental health facility. If you can find the name of the disorder, you'll be able to find the name of the guy I'm thinking of.

>Sam Kinison
Threw himself in front of his new wife when a truck hit their car, his aorta was torn in the crash, literally died of a broken heart. No disputing this.

>Bill Hicks
Had a very promising career ahead of him before he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, there's no reason he would fake his own death, and anybody who thinks he's Alex Jones is a fucking fool.

>Andy Kaufman
Oh who the fuck knows

For those of you who are skeptical about the idea of them finding a replacement who looks so similar to Paul

>> No.54910469

Must be pretty awkward at family reunions though.

"Hey, random bloke who replaced my dead son and have contractually muted me from telling the truth, nice to see you."

Also, even if he is a fake, apparently this fake McCartney is a better musician and songwriter, so. Good riddance, I guess.

but they do look like the same person

same chin, same lazy eye, same ears. any differences are easily accounted for by the differing facial expressions.
