masterful night albums
I always think of Niggas as a super early morning album, for some reason. When the sun hasn't quite risen enough yet to be seen, but the sky is beginning to get that really gorgeous mixture of dark and light blue and the whole world is waking up around you. "Billy Not Really" and "Black Quarterback" are so masterfully upbeat and happy in a really cool way, and Say Hey Kid's synths are so perfect for that color of sky.Two of my personal favorite night albums are The Pearl by Brian Eno and The Tired Sounds Of Stars Of The Lid. They're both just so warm and optimistic, they remind me of looking at the stars.
>>54830617interesting take on it
This album is my go-to whenever I have to walk around at night. Really surreal goth-rock atmosphere.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m72c_U2NKwUhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoStR1qpNl4

>>54831229i thought /mu/ hated dan swanö
>>54830582The xx - xx and The Weeknd - House of Ballooms are pretty downbeat and foggy. However if that's too late high-school for you here's some others:Glass Animals - ZabaHow to Dress Well - Love Remins Jessy Lanza - Pull My Hair BackNosaj Thing - HomeSea Oleena - ShallowShabazz Palaces - Black UpAnd great pick, I enjoy it so much more at night
>>54831286I don't give a shit what /mu/ likes or hates. Swanö is the man.
posting the obvious
>>54830617I never thought of those songs as happy. Or any DG song for that matter.

imho the 'introspective jamming' era was the best phase of earth
For me, this album works best for me at night, played loud, with all the lights out or walking while it's pitch black out.>>54831242>>54833004>>54833435>>54834423also these

People That Can Eat People Are the Luckiest People In the WorldMainly due to personal experience, though
>>54834631I think Geogaddi is more appropriate
I was listening to this yesterday on the night bus after a kinda bad night out. It was raining and I was drunk and really tired and this felt really appropriate.
