As somebody who also has to use shitty gear to do their recording (I literally record all of my stuff into a practice amp with a loop function and save it to an SD card), this definitely has potential. Much more expressive than most ambient stuff I attempted in my earlier stages.
I'd like to hear what you could do with maybe a drum machine, if not real drums, maybe flesh it out a bit more, but as is, like I said, it's expressive. The high-pitched tremolo-effect part is an interesting touch, I'd like to hear that bit develop a bit more, maybe turn it into a lead with some more complex melodies, but yeah, you've got potential. Keep at it, man.
