I'm sorry to hear your struggles, OP.
If it makes you feel any better, I have autism. I have a brother who also has it along with anorexia, as well as a significantly dysfunctional family.
Life is a learning process, OP, There's no such thing as "making it" in life. This is something a lot of people I believe need to realize. If you think there's some level you need to be at in your life right now, or you want to be at in the future, or have felt you needed to be at in the past, stop it. That's not how life works.
Life is a constant ride with no destinations. If you're not enjoying it and feel like you've come across too many obstacles, to the point where you don't want to do it anymore, do something about it. It's not that you haven't tried or are trying hard enough, you just need to do so, and keep trying and keep moving forward. If you don't stop, you'll keep learning and progressing. Remember this: you can never un-learn anything, you can only gain from your experiences. The only thing you can ever lose throughout your journey is life itself. It's the only thing that can be lost, and if you take that away, nothing more can ever be gained and everything will be lost. Death is inevitable, but if you never give up, nothing will be lost, because you've gained as much as you would ever be able to. Keep going, keep doing things, and don't ever choose to stop.
Also, be around people, people help. Humans are social animals. No matter how much, we depend on each other.
Like music? Do stuff with music, and do it along with many people. For me, being in multiple choirs and musical theater has allowed me to cope with my issues very well. If you do something like that, enjoy it, that's important.
Don't get rid of your life. Keep living, and keep doing what it takes to get through it.
