All the things that people claim are good about ITAOTS except really and it's not the eye of the storm in Hurricane Meme. Well written, catchy songs one after another; monopoly on that sound like no one else; meaningless, easily remembered lyrics that are pretty chilled out and fun to sing along with. I mean, indie music is just fancy pop music, but there's nothing wrong with liking pop music either, and indie is distinctly less shit. Also it has an atmosphere very suited to dark, moody weather. I don't understand why people get so worked up over bands like this, "Oh no somebody is feeling sorry for themselves boo hoo I don't get to feel sorry for myself I hate myself poor me boo." Fuck you you're the same as the rest, feels ruined this place, it's as if it's not OK to feel sad when you listen to music anymore without being a hack, shit.

It's just excellent low-key indie rock really, if you don't like that sound you won't like the album, but you're just shitposting anyway I'm only chiming in because the others seem to be having an existential crisis over whether they're hipsters or not.
