ok so
long story short, i went to high school with a particular member of OF and he got me on the crew for tyler's new double video for "T" and "wonder 96," both which sound so fucking amazing.

It's bullshit. I googled "tyler the creator sam" and "tyler the creator new album" and found no results for this. Unless this is the first place the info leaked, which I highly doubt.

Because at the same time he tries to tell a "serious story" and talk about his personal problems, and he's just not as good at that, I don't think. That's always been his problem. At times he can be a talented lyricist, but it all gets bogged down by his desire to talk about bikes and summer camp, which he just isn't a good enough storyteller and writer to actually accomplish. He can write great bangers and goofy shit like "Trashwang" but once he gets on that "awkward" shit i'm out. It's just a problem of balance. He's good at the goofy shit, but he doesn't want to be pinned down to that, and unfortunately that doesn't work for him.
