I use Spotify on my phone because when I'm out I mostly listen to hip hop and it has plenty of that. When I'm home I use Music Bee instead. Spotify has very lacking content for underground acts, even hip hop.

It doesn't have everything (see: In Rainbows).

I like having a copy on my own harddrive, not streamshit.

Buy the albums you want, stream the rest. Streaming isn't amazing, but it supports artists more than torrenting.

MusicBee doesn't multiply music files in any way, which iTunes does. It is pretty customizable so you can make it be layed out to your preference. It's very fast and has no bugs. You can install themes (such as an itunes theme), it has FLAC support. It is also very useful for tagging and retrieving album artwork.
iTunes is only good on macs.

I used spotify for about three years and always defended it on these shitty threads. About a month ago I switched from streaming to musicbee and actual downloaded music and it was a great decision. I've already discovered much more unique music than I had the three years I had spotify combined.
So basically. Spotify sucks you fucking plebs.

At home, I have my music collection.
Elsewhere, we have shit 3G that is expensive, so better stick to the music collection.
