I don't exactly know who writes what but I always had the feeling Doss provides a lot of the pop sensibilities and Hart thinks up the crazy sound collage ideas. If that's the case, I just prefer the poppiness of otc, although both aspects are what make them so special.

Oh really? I didn't know that. I assumed Schneider just has everything related to otc and cs, or at least has some access to it. Makes sense though.

I've always thought it was Kevin and Julian. I'm pretty sure they start singing together and then it sounds like Julian does the background vocals while Kevin sings the melody.
I could be wrong, cause they sound pretty similar in the song.

wasn't as big a fan of the newer disco-synth stuff but it's still pretty great.
I want to see Music Tapes so badly. NMH was amazing to see live, I think the more intimate show with MT would be incredible. I love Julian's music.
