What is your favorite Charles Mingus album? Mine is the Black Saint and the Sinner Lady.

>>54524284Black Saint and The Sinner Lady is the only Jazz album I've heard. Where should I go from here?

>calls duke ellington a has-been>calls max roach a bebop drummer in a derogatory way>pretentious as fuck (wears silly hats even before fedora comeback)>simple bass player>hasn't composed a single standard>extremely popular on /mu/wow. he ain't much, is he?
>>54524936>extremely popular on /mu/You should get out more
If any of you haven't heard Charles Mingus Presents Charles Mingus, you're really missing out. it's incredibly raw/unpolished sounding, almost like homemade porn in 1080p.Mingus, Roach, Dolphy, Ted Curson, it's a quartet--without a piano. and you can hear tons of interaction between em all.
>>54524936>hasn't composed a single standardyou are literally retarded
>>54524984Richmond* ; ] don't lynch me please
