I wouldn't say it's "kinda shit", but you really have to sort the wheat from the chaff with most of his releases. I'm very much an album person, but in his case I think making your own playlists/cherrypicking tracks is better.

It's full of information nobody would have asked about (like the price of the croissants for some press conference), presented in a seemingly straightforward but completely inefficient way (unordered, each line after the other like a receipt ticket, on an unusually large multiple-panel digipak that's only printed on one side). I've read it three times now, but have since lent it to a friend. It doesn't provide amazing insight, but it was a great read. Weidenbaum does a good job explaining where this album sits in the context of other electronic music releases, the club/rave scene, and in the context of ambient music up until then (all very helpful for me, was born a year after this album came out). The book's like $12 bucks, I really recommend picking it up if you're a fan of RDJ or the album.
