I feel that the video does hold meaning, depending on what you get from it.

It seemed to me that most of the time they looked zoned out, almost broken, as if confronted with and accepting that they won't commit suicide but they will remain discontent with their lives (or at the very least, that's what Ride says for himself).

That's just me, though, and I probably am reading too much into it.

There are two DG eras though.
ExM, TMS, and NLDW were one cycle, loud, experimental, and serious.
Then they greatly changed their sound; GP, NOTM, and now JD are much more abstract, artistic, and self-aware.
After JD they're going to have completed the second cycle, and Death Grips as we know it will cease to be, until one or more of the members carry the spirit in a new direction.
