I listened to this for the first time just now, and it's awesome. I need more.
Each time after the first the skit gets more and more annoying if you ask me. I still love to analyse all the other songs though.
Although less impressive, this album (1967) contains Sister Ray, which probably remains the ultimate, definitive masterpiece of rock music, an epic piece that rivals Beethoven's symphonies and John Coltrane's metaphysical improvisations.

What do you mean by more? If you want more VU listen to the s/t and the VU&Nico. If you want psych rock in the vein of Sister Ray go listen to Les Rallizes Denudes' 77 Live.
Listen to the rest of the VU's discography. Check out the solos of each member too. I don't know why but the VU always makes me think of the Stooges too. Listen to them also.
