No one really "listens" to art music.The only time you'll listen to it if it's a live performance. Art music is stored by being written down in notations, rather than being recorded and transmitted. Music doesn't even have to be challenging or complex to be art music. It's just music that is stored on paper to be studied and played. OP confirmed for not knowing what art music is.
