Gorillaz I can definitely say is a guilty pleasure but it's more in the aesthetic and narrative than the actual music. Damon is one of the few modern, as well as, accessible musical geniuses right now. They built a solid accumulation with the first two LPs and Demon Days I can honestly without feeling like I'm sounding like some overenthusiastic adolescent say was a masterpiece relative to its cultural context.

You want guilty pleasures? Try out Wagakki Band. They are a Japanese rock band that fuses traditional Japanese music with hard rock and almost exclusively cover Vocaloid songs. They've been doing more original music lately I think. The singer is pretty amazing. They have a nice sense of vocal melody but aside from that they're cheesy and basically fedoracore.

I showed these to a room full of drunk/stoned people and they all went crazy for it. I was on DXM and basically fell in love with the main singer and wanted to watch videos by them all night.
