Second for Ark Work being this generation's TMR
Post the last metal album you listened to in entirety.
>>53777991Fuck off tripshit
>>53777983I love me some Powerwolf man! Their song Resurrection By Erection is awesome
Why is post metal so good?
>>53778028It's really not man...
I never listened to this until now. What the fuck happenedhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa9mEaNdgh4
>>53777997
>>53778051This one was so bad.
>>53778051There are some cool songs though, like Existo Vulgoré for exemple. But overall, it's not that good...
/metal/ goes in the 'Subject' field, dipshit. It doesn't filter otherwise.
>>53777997just finished pic related. It was pretty great industrial sludge, very percussive.
>>53777997Love this album
>>53777997If you consider Crossover "metal", then it's pic related.
>>53777997Solid album, a bit like Moonsorrow but much more melodic rather than atmospheric.
Really love the vocals on this album.
https://banishedsoulsovforbiddendesire.bandcamp.com/album/hands-full-ov-hate-deluxe-anniversary-editionFairly recent BSOFD flowchart
>>53777997I don't even like Voivod, they're pretty underwhelming IMO. I think this might be their best album I've heard. On most of their albums my biggest gripe is the singer's voice
>>53778430I fucking love Voivod
>>53778051Never really got into Morbid Angel but always avoided this album like the plague and never even gave it a listen. What makes it so god awful?
>>53778476click the link
>>53778476It sounds like a really bad Rammstein album. You kind of need to listen to it yourself to believe it though.
>>53778498>>53778523Okay with caution I am gonna fuggin click it
>>53777997well i only listen to them in entirety
THIS IS YOUNOURISHINGTHE GRANDMASS GRAVE AESTHETICS
>>53778017>giving even one single little shit>>53778051if you're already baffled by this, then you should listen to the remix album!
>>53778610Suck my dick tripshit
>>53778610Such a cool album cover too...
>>53777997Felt a little bit nostalgic yesterday and listened to pic related. It's pretty repetitive and I don't love it as much as I did back when it came out but it was my first In Flames album so I still appreciate it a lot.>>53778028You know, at some point I just wish he stopped screaming and just sang like a normal person. It's specially annoying when the music is calm and quiet and I get this Swedish hardcore dude screaming at my ears. That being said, Cult of Luna still is my favorite atmo-sludge band. Yes, I like them more than isis and Neurosis. Come at me, bros.
>>53778628>i can't read>>53778639honestly though, that one was almost kinda good in some spots
>>53778610This is so fucking horrible, it's hilarious.
>>53778678Taking your trip off doesn't make a difference
>>53778523>>53778498Wow yeah that was garbo. What's with the weird Septicflesh sound effects and shit? Was this release with the original line-up?
Is Agalloch the worst metal band of all time?
>>53778678I haven't touched the remix album at all, I think I'd feel too dirty.
>>53778272watered down crossover if I've ever heard itgosh pizza thrash is such trite.
>>53778659Don't get me wrong, I like clean vocals but to me they just don't fit there.
>>53778699fine, you got me to the point. is this what you wanted?the general has been flowing well with me all those months as anon, i don't think shit'll change.unless, of course, /b/tard fags like you you start shit.>>53778744oh you should. if nothing else, it's hilarious. my affinity for cheesy hardcore techno probably helps though
>>53778739What don't you like about them?
>>53778835Let me tell you something, tripshit - There is virtually zero excuse to have a trip. If you're an OP and you're receiving questions, sure, but otherwise you're just fame-whoring little shit. That's the way it is.
>>53778835I do love me some gabber...
There is literally nothing wrong with having a trip, though
>>53778876lol, do you seriously care that much? I'm not even that guy and the last time I used a trip was in 2010. Why do you care that someone who at least discusses music has a trip?
>>53778869Not him but I have never seen a tripfag that wasn't a massive retard.
someone upload the 320 of elder - lore on what.cdthe 256 and a couple 320s i got of soulseek were transcodes
>>53778915If you want to fame-whore you can do it on Reddit. It will literally allow you to go full internet e-celeb mode like you always wanted.
>>53778923Wait, what? I was asking about him not liking Agalloch...
>>53778876Jesus fuck off newfag. FIFH has been around forever and is a staple of these threads. Stop with your neanderthal arguments
>>53778915he's been crying all day about this I think
>>53778939Agalloch is pretty terrible too. Those whispered vocals are shitty, the forced "lel so cold" ambiance gets old, there have been bands that have even done Agalloch better than Agalloch (Gallowbraid, anyone?) and worst of all, they attract retard hipsters that know nothing of atmoblack so they post their stupid bullshit here
>>53778963>atmoblackAren't they labeled as folk metal?
An Autumn For Crippled Children - The Long Goodbye (2015)>Post-black metal/shoegazeReleases 2/23 on their Bandcamp - https://anautumnforcrippledchildren.bandcamp.com/album/the-long-goodbyehttps://mega.co.nz/#F!qox2jJjD!H8e7mO3UXFC4MyY-HfdPnQenjoy, guys

Are we finally allowed to post Deafheaven and Liturgy here now?
>>53778990sick, didn't know this was out
>>53778983To be honest Marrow of the Spirit was nothing BUT atmoblack
>>53779000Why would you want to? There are always individual threads about them on this board
>>53778990Thanks man. Samples sounded better than their previous.
>>53778938Yes, and you can also fame-whore here if you want. Let me tell you something else too, and I won't discuss this further because I thought people had already stopped with that tripfag vs anon type of mentality years ago: the only people derailing this thread are the anons saying SHUT THE FUCK UP, TRIPFAG. So, shut the fuck up, YOU ANONYMOUS FAGGOT. If you don't have anything important to say or if you hate Fearless Iranian from Hell that much (or any other tripfag, for that matter) just avoid him and stop giving him "e-fame" as you say.Yes, I mad. This is what happens after spending too much time in /mu/.
>>53779000noid rather start posting techno again
>>53779000It has always been allowed but some people will always get triggered.
>>53779024They're metal, for starters. No matter how much neckbeards cry about it, they're metal to the core.>>53778990>>53779027Like this blackgaze bullshit is allowed here but not the bands that started it and did it better?
>>53779048I didn't say they weren't metal, stop putting word into my mouth
>>53779048>deafheaven liturgy>bands that started ityea ur clueless can u leave
>>53779063Name a single more popular blackgaze band than those two combined.
>>53779048>started it and did it betterWhat bands exactly are you talking about? An Autumn for Crippled Children have been blackgaze since Everything, that was in 2011. 2011 Deafheaven was still playing atmospheric black metal on Roads to Judah.
>>53778963I understood your point with the final part of your post: you only hate them because people you don't like like them. Stupid mentality that I won't even try to counterargument because it was old when it happened in Metal-Archives 10 years ago and it's even worse when a kid in /mu/ tries to imitate it.>>53779000Man, I've always been a fan of pic related.
>>53779086not him but you said they started it, not that they were popular, which I don't think anyone is calling into question.
>>53779021More like atmoblack / blackgaze
>>53779096>literally ignored the rest of my postAre Liturgy fans always this retarded?
>>53779086Back in the day this band existed but apparently kids have forgotten.
>>53779105So they didn't start the blackgaze fad that's going on right now?
>>53779118I think you replied to the wrong person.>>53779142No. Alcest started it.>>53779132

>>53779197No, you ignored the rest of my post because you're an illiterate retard.
>>53779191I think it's "killer cult"
>>53779215Lifelover had never a single shoegaze influence, boy, what are you talking about? You're also talking about Lifelover like it isn't well-known as fuck
>>53779225>lifelover>post-punkErr, no it's not>>53779132Can we all just agree Les Discrets > Alcest?
>>53779215>lifeloverlol
>>53779250That's the point thoughRetard
>>53779260Wait, what's wrong with lifelover?
>>53779270What's the point? That you're saying stupid shit just to troll?
>>53779252Lifelover didn't have a strong post-punk influence? Really? Because I can tell for sure they certainly didn't have a shoegaze one.Blackgaze sounds the way it does directly as a result of Neige and Alcest. Now, even if what you said was true, that Lifelover started blackgaze, Pulver didn't come out until 2006. Alcest's Le Secret, their first album to incorporate a "blackgaze" sound, was released in 2005.
>>53779307>That you're saying stupid shit just to troll?Nah, I ain't a tripfag, sorry.See >>53779322
So, FIFF, now that we are here. What would you recommend to someone who wants more neocrust but barely knows Alpinist and Fall of Efrafa?Sorry that it's a little bit offtopic
I only like stoner metal right now. How do I into doom or sludge?
>>53779102i feel like that album would be improved if you tweaked the tracklist a little. some of the transitions are extremely jarring, to the point where take out the momentum>>53779118well, the rest of your post didn't really contain a lot of value anyways>>53779118in essence, the new Tool fanbase.>>53779155>>53779215earliest example of something resembling blackgaze, from 94https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pprVgm0_Eswell, a little.
hey guys, seeing as a few threads ago someone did a tech metal chart, would it be cool with you if i tossed together a little topsters chart for that? just my own attempt of selecting, say, 30 tech metal albums i personally enjoy.i normally don't like doing "recommended *x genre*" type stuff but it'd be cool to collaborate with the other person working on that chart
>>53779373JungbluthMother fucking Jungbluth
>>53779390You don't, stoner's better than the both of them anyway.

>>53779484Isn't DSBM more like those slow, monotonous Burzum ripoff bands?
>>53779431hey, topsters is down, don't worry ;)
>>53779515Yes all DSBM is Burzum wannabes
>>53779444Kinda agree with this.Fleurety were kind of the unsung progenitors of black metal/post-rock but for some reason Alcest became known as the leading band of the movement despite Neige saying: >“At the Le Secret/Souvenirs period my musical inspirations were Yann Tiersen, Ataraxia, and Burzum, and for Écailles De Lune it was the fantastic and so underrated British post-punk band The Chameleons… As I said a lot of times in previous interviews, Alcest music never had any link with shoegaze for the simple reason that I discovered this style of music after having composed Souvenirs. Now I am listening to it a lot, it’s great, especially bands like Slowdive, Pale Saints, Ride, etc.”
>>53779484Are you saying Lifelover is pure DSBM or something? I'm just scratching my head right now. It is post-punk as fuck man.
>>53779515>>53779597i presume the dude kicking his own bucket is what he meant.

>>53779978>wannabe-heavy bleep distortionYou mean just the uncontrolled feedback peaking? I guess it's a hardcore thing. I like it. Creates a really sharp contrast. Also admittedly I don't listen to sludge for good song writing, I listen to it for filth and crushing riffs.
This thread is pretty much tripfag circlejerk central anyway, I don't see the point in bitching about it.
>>53779403Sorry, I asked you and forgot to reply. I'm listening to "Part Ache" and this is absolutely what I wanted right now. Good stuff, dude. Thanks a lot
>>53780092Got to see them last year at this super tiny show with Centuries, was awesome. Those guys are German as fuck haha, really nice though. Check out Schrapnell too.
>>53779566dude half of black metal in general is VERY strongly influenced by Burzum. Burzum invented atmospheric black metal singlehandedly. All atmo-black/dsbm/blackgaze is entirely indebted to Burzum.

>>53780082yeah that's what i meantalso>I don't listen to sludge for good song writing, I listen to it for filth and crushing riffs.I completely agree with that, but Eyehategod has one of the weakest riffs I've heard in sludge. Maybe there's something wrong with my ears, don't know, just don't like them.
Alright, I think it's time I get into death metal. Where do I start? I'd like to start somewhere not too extreme if possible.
>>53780370>not too extreme if possibleit's impossiblebut this is a good one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlUNc8vA1Tg

>>53777997I'm on a OSSDM frenzy, shit is so catchy and heavy
>>53780370>Not too extremeYou could try what I call "gateway" death metal genres such as Melodeath and Deathcore. Try Amon Amarth's "Surtur Rising" and All Shall Perish's "This Is Where It Ends."

ok here's a little draft i did just for funtrying to balance essentials and personal favorites
>>53782603also i'm biasing choices towards the more technicality-focused albums in a genre, as well as ones that had a large impact. my tech death section needs fixing, probably.
>>53782632no Arsis? I thought Celebration of Guilt was really good.
>>53782670hmm, i dunno if i'd say arsis have had a huge impact on tech death.i might put sound of perserverance in there because technicality + influence, but i hate that album.on the other hand, dream theater is there.
>>53782718I didnt know this was based on influence. I thought it was just favorites and essentials
>>53782603oh, right, should be obvious but the rows are:-prog-neoclassical/power-instrumental-thrash-death-black- -core-avant/other
>>53782603Is AGDoW more technical than other Mayhem albums? I just thought it was weirder. Also I would say Fortress or Scurrilous are more technical than Kezia, unless it's a personal preference?
Who swedish death in here? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l50Ji0WJe9o
>>53782802https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xH3HEe_D6oEsuper technical drumming, strange time signatures, guitars playing a ton of atonal arpeggios... i'd say it's technical.also admittedly kezia is the only PTH album i've listened to so perhaps scurrilous would fit better. i'd call kezia their most influential because it was their first and really shot them to fame and influence quickly>>53782762when i say "essentials" in my charts, it's generally meant in the sense of a landmark album, one which is relevant to know just because it's important to the development of a genre as a whole.
>>53782870Then I would have to raise the questioning of your death metal choices, but I couldnt care less really.

For the hell of it I decided to look at MA reviews of that Crimson Massacre, and they sum up my thoughts pretty well." “The Lustre of Pandemonium” has no thought behind it, it means nothing, stands for nothing, and the music itself is nothing but an explication of egotistical bigotry behind the fretboard of a guitar."
>>53782603>protest the hero
>>53783097>it means nothingthe album is a conceptual narrative of the fall of the kingdom of god and the implications of a godless world>has no thought behind itthe compositions are immensely detailed and each track includes multiple motifs tying ideas together>stands for nothingit's an attempt to make creative music. the goal of it is not to be technicalyou're dead wrong. it's honestly a very similar album to fas, in terms of how initially off-putting it is, and you defend fas as "complex difficult listening" but won't give TLOP the time of day.
Would anyone happen to have a link for anything from Clair Cassis ?
>>53783065I also dont understand the lack of Pestilence. I thought Testimony of the Ancients was influential, at least more so than Origin's Antithesis
>>53783103>not an influential and highly technically skilled band>>53783187origin are probably the most influential modern tech band imo, they started the push towards ridiculous speed and were one of the first bands in the new wave of tdm to use a sci-fi theme that's now ubiquitoustestimony of the ancients, i dunno what that album does that death and atheist didn't. always seen pestilence as a me-too band when it came to their forays into tdm.
Wonder what sola fide I sounds like with shitty orchestral samples?Find out, now !http://vocaroo.com/i/s1TOM4FHyqCF
>>53783219I think Cryptopsy did the initial technical sped-up death metal earlier than Origin's self titled in 2001.
>>53783304none so vile is fast as hell, yeah. i'd consider putting it in over antithesis. either suffocation or cryptopsy would fit in the list, maybe remove gorod for them.
>>53783164An album can have a concept but if it can't actually make good on it, then what good is the concept? This is a floppy wankfest. I hear no kingdom of god falling.I don't doubt that they put thought into their compositions, but it comes out as nothing but masturbation. The album suffocates itself under its own technicality, rendering all possible meaning lost. Fas is technical, but it is a significantly different breed of technicality. The technicality they use isn't just lots of super fast high notes. It's really off putting chord progressions, and intervals which unsettle you. There is emotion in all that chaos and they know when to bring it out, and take a step back. LoP doesn't. Maybe I've heard the wrong songs, maybe you can show me a song like The Repellent Scars of Abandon and Election or A Chore for the Lost on that album.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WayVS0gnBNc>>53783240Ooo I'm liking this.
>>53777997started to delve into the death metal chart that gets tossed around here frequently to dig up some old gems that I may have missedThis was decidedly average, although the vocals were ironically awesome. >>53783097Except none of that is true lmao. People just hear lots of notes and think it's wankery. I have a hard time believing the reviewer listened to that album more than once.
>>53784432The funny thing is that people use this exact kind of argument to criticize DsO all the time.
>>53779390Epic doom album right here!
>>53777997I really liked it
>>53784283That one riff in The Devourer is pretty much the only enjoyable moment I could find. Except they don't let it sink in at all. The music doesn't take advantage of it at all. They shift right off into more wanking, and the drums kill what moment there was.Compare this to a similar riff in A Chore for the Lost at 3:30, and where it repeats again at 4:00.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WayVS0gnBNcIt comes right down after and the moment sticks with you, it isn't immediately lost in more cacophony. As for the acoustic track, it's actually quite nice, I like it a lot. If only the other songs were that good. But one song does not make an album worthwhile.
>>53784706it's not cacophony. there are patterns, you just have to have the desire to piece it together. i can't fault you if you don't, but to call it mere wankery bothers me.
>>53784706Fuck off, tripfag
>>53784618You are the only person I've seen who has said that album is good. I didn't dislike it but it was just boring to me. Should I give it a relisten?
>>53784845it actually has some of nile's better songs imo, but the production... god no. the guitar tone is actually painful.
>>53784892I've started another go of it, and I can't help but feel that I've heard all this before. Not in the relisten way but it's like I've heard a lot of it but in a different way. Did anybody else notice this?
>>53784845I didn't have any problem with the production to be honest. I like how dirty the guitar sounds sometimes. I would give it another go, but it might just not be for you so to speak.>>53785453Nope, since it's the first album I've listened to by them.
This is an epic album and it needs listening stat!
Anyone wanna dump the charts? Not that Iranian triptard shit but the real ones? Thanks in advance.
Thoughts on this album/band?
I'm listening to this album for the first time now. Holy shit I fucking love it>Midnight Odyssey - Funerals from the Astral sphere
Just finished listening to Isa, now on pic related. Man, Enslaved at their best were just so good. I haven't really enjoyed what I heard from their last few albums, but I could be wrong.
>be in moshpit tonight>floor soaked in beer and soda>fat motherfuckers charging at me I throw them off >someone hits me I lose balance, slip and eat shit>slam hard as fuck on knee, hurts like hell>glasses get knocked off and hat ripped off but luckily I retrieved them bothwhy do you guys do this shit
>>53785582Nile have been treading water since AOTW. Nothing new. So that complaint is understandable.
What's /metal/ drinking tonight? I'm halfway through my six pack of Budweiser.
>>53786911> glasses and hat in a pitHipster detected
>>53786972Drinking pic related and banging it to some muh-fuckin THE CHASM, bitches.
>>53780888Not bad, but Like An Everflowing Stream is better.
>>53780484Indeed, also stuff like Leechmilk, Meth Drinker, Toadliquor etc.
>>53786972>tonight>not European>>53786965B-but I love Nile :(
>>53786911As a guy who can't be without his glasses, my trick is to hold bent inward in my palm and keep that hand bent toward my chest with my elbow out. This protects them even in fairly violent pits, I've found. Never had them break or anything, although a couple time they've bent a bit and I've had to bend them back after.
>>53778051This album is just bizarre, I don't understand what happened.>>53778123Great album, barely metal though? Going to see them live this summer.>>53778963Gallowbraid is pretty shit tbh. But I wouldn't say Agalloch is any better. But then again, I haven't listened through one entire album with them. Saw them live though and it was pretty bad.
>>53787326I enjoy them too but they've essentially rehashed the same sound for a decade
>>53787794>Gallowbraid is pretty shit tbh.
>>53779096Would you really say Roads To Judah was atmospheric black metal? Only heard it back in 2011 but I remember it as being quite shoegazy and happy/uplifting-sounding.
>>53787821not who you are replying to but roads to judah definitely has atmo elements in it. >>53779048>startedhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqol8qrab5k
>>53780370Scream Bloody GoreLeft Hand PathOnly Old School is Real
tfw I just started listening to Deathspell Omega yesterday and I'm realy digging it but it will forever associate with that FIFH faggot
>>53787874That Deity Guns song is really neato, thanks for posting. More proof that black metal is really just Satanic lo-fi noise rock.
>>53782603Does anyone know how Jason Becker is going along? Can't listen to his albums anymore, just makes me sad. Especially that one where he wrote the music with his eye reading technology but can't play it himself.
>>53787905i just like the song and it makes me laugh that it was made during the Norwegian era and that they are not a BM band
>>53782811Obliteration are Norweigan though. I'm listening to Bastard Priest, really great stuff.
>>53787935Ham was playing music with dissonant tremolo picked riffs, harsh vocals, and an anti-religious image in 1988 in Iceland. Norway did literally nothing original.
>>53787932The amount of respect I have for him is fucking mindblowing.
reminder that this isn't a black metal songhttp://tinypic.com/player.php?v=29lim12%3E&s=8#.VOmmly69H6R
>>53787932He's still truckin' along. Made this vid back in August. At the end is a little clip of music being put together so he's still working.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4RT-J_20aITried watching some of his other vids a while back of people playing guitar in front of him but to me that's kinda disrespectful (although I'm pretty sure even in his state he enjoys teaching others).
How do you like it?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRYVmO_VEVQ
>>53777991>Nightbringer >Svartidauoi >MglaFucking nice choices man.
>>53788112one minute in and i feel safe in saying that it's a bit crap.
>>53788135Ok, offer better alternative ´within the genre's borders
>>53778990Well that was kinda bad. All this muddy keyboards laying over everything. So unnecessary
>>53788112I fucking love old shitty demos
>>53788061Fucking hell, this is so sad. I love him for doing that video though, so glad to see him doing anything at all.
>>53788161Depends on what you mean by "genre". That Devastator is the kind of no-fi extreme metal that doesn't easily fit into any category on account of how bad the riff writing can be.
>>53788112I've now listened to it in it's entirety and my conclusion is that it's pretty good background easy listening raw BM.
>>53788296>>53788326I'd define it as death/thrash(I kinda agree that 1st minute doesn't sound very impressive)
>>53779373Ekkaia, Masakari, Ictus, Agrimonia
>>53783186rutracker
>>53780370morbid angel-altars of madness Bolt thrower-realm of chaosAutopsy-mental funeralThree of the most consistent dm albums of all time. Go in the order i posted too.
>>53788396Hell, I wouldn't suggest the last two for the beginner. I'd replace it with Obituary "Slowly we rot" and Death first two LPs. And Autopsy "Several Survival" but it's not that necessary. Personally I've never get into Bolt Thrower.
NEW DEIPHAGO - INTO THE EYE OF SATAN TEASERhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsM0k58FPjUSounds even more insane than Satan Alpha Omega (if that was even possible) and is produced by our boy Colin Marston. Can't stop the Philippine rape train.
How can you listen to music that is deliberately ugly and bad/unlistenable? Are you just edgy? Is that why they always have those ugly tasteless names and album covers? It's the goal of metal. Metal is always ugly and tasteless. It's a fact. That's the point. I don't understand why someone would want to be like that. The other day I saw some faggot (around 25) riding around on a skateboard while wearing a hoodie that said "NAPALM DEATH". I don't understand why a fucking adult would want to be so edgy and tasteless. Napalm is a horrible thing and it's disgusting to be walking around (or in his case, skating; something for little kids. How can a self respecting person do this? It's ok if you like it, I guess, but jesus christ. You look like such a gigantic childish faggot. You probably smoke a lot of weed and don't have a job) with clothes that promote death by napalm.Disgusting and tasteless. Why do you people want to be like that? How many of you look like this guy? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9T7n5yLXXk
Why is Striborg such a pretentious ass wrangler?
>>53788782I kinda look like that guy, except that I'm a bit thinner and have a lot more acne.
>>53788782Projecting your own subjective opinion and tastes into absolute usually refers to the lack of intelligence.
>>53788803>>53788920>falling for a pasta
Hey guys, whats your favorite Leviathan demo?
Now tell your opinion, mates:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsaaQyNBSBQ
>>53789219Probably the shittest production I've ever heard, that being said i'd listen to it again
>>53789268So that means you never heard really shitty production
>>53789219Junk.>>53789303Not the guy you're talking to, but no fucking shit, Einstein.
>>53789347>JunkWhy?
>>53789358Dude it's barely even listenable.
>>53786499Holy shit man. This album is good. Thanks!
>>53789389Well, personally I enjoy
>>53787899He really does have a way of ruining things doesn't he? Did you see that anon destroy his ass yesterday talking about the way fifh spergs out over "hot contrary opinions" and all that fag shot? It was hilarious.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybyU0pdIu4Y
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=NxU0C8XoLnsIs this what thrash-death sounds like?
>>53790039Nah, this is just good ol' death metal. Bolt Thrower style.Early Sepultura, Morbid Saint, Demolition Hammer, Onslaught are good examples of classic thrash/death.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mz9QjTvkBP4
>>53790074Oh, duh. No guts no glory is kinda too slow for thrash. Thanks for the recs.
>>53784618AtCoNK > AotW > ITDS > TWtGD > AtGoS = Ithyphallic > BSoV
>>53777997Last track of pic related is the first time I've heard a saxophone taking any sort of vaguely prominent part in any metal. Surprisingly, it fits quite well
>>53790293Sax in metal has been a thing for ages now.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWq5NozNvWw

give me something brutal as fuck! crazy song titles and original sound is a +++

>>53787886>Only Old School is RealThe "pioneer" albums sounded good, but after that, all the bands in the scene just started copying each other and it got stale.
>>53790733https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwgMO_sm0EIPosted this already, but it does offer a good sample.

>>53790990Did you forget to take your medication, anon?
>>53790990Enjoying that grindcore, are you?
>>53780215This chart is good, but why put Rock Formations instead of Vista Point? All of the songs are there along with the ones from Pot Head
I really liked the two tracks on their bandcamp. What should i listen to next? http://eximperituserqethhzebibsiptugakkathsulweliarzaxulum.bandcamp.com/album/promo-2013
>>53791334dafuq kinda name is that?
>>53791410exactly...but they're cool
