Best open headphones under 300?I'm thinking HD600 or HE-400
>>53684193I've been loving my seinheiser 558's. soo comfy. I am guessing they were under 300 (they were a gift)
>>53684231They are ~$120.I have the 598s however.>>53684193Don't the HE-400 have a frequency hole or something?
>>53684304o, ur right. well, comfort level is unmatched for me with anything I've owned. one of the few headphones I can wear for 4+ hours without bothering me because I have glasses.and the sound is good enough for my simple needshow are the 598s?
>>53684304Some complain about slightly recessed mids, but beyond that I don't think so?
>>53684396the 558s are great, the 598s though, are pretty much better across the board. You can find them really cheap now. They were on sale for $100 on some places a little while ago. You can find them for around 130 now I think. Probably one of the best cans you can get at that price point
I got brand new hd 650s for $250aud a couple of years ago: so those. Also as a side note, if you're deciding between 650s or dt770s then go for senn. Much nicer sounding compared to the beyers which are quite harsh.
>>53684455good to know. may upgrade at some point in the future
>>53684569that is a steller deal. I'm in the market for HD650s, but I have yet to find a deal I'm willing to take yet.also, are your DT770s 250 or 600 ohms? while neither can compare to the Senns, I'm just curious if the 600o are that harsh
>>53684748I have the highest impedance ones, so 600ohm I guess.
>>53685461I was considering picking up a DT770/880/990, but I think I may hold off until I get the HD650s or maybe K7XXs, there are just too many cans that I want to get
>>53685722If you get the 650 then the 770 you will hate the 770 and vice versa.
