I've always thought it was strange people liked Mellon Collie more than Adore. I always thought Mellon Collie was way too long and the lyrics were really bad, but Adore is just a really good album the whole way through, especially Tear and Appels + Oranjes

Also, not really an album, but everything by New Order is great summer listening. Substance and PC&L especially.

As a hardcore Mellon Collie fan I agree, it's a bit long and rather...samey, if you know what I mean. I mean a lot of the tracks follow a certain sound and formula after a while. Adore is a lot more varied.

I always listen to Dirty by Sonic Youth in the summer. Sugar Kane is basically THE song from my teenage years.
