I play both and guitar is infinitely harder to MASTER.

Both are about the same if you want to reach moderate pleb level skill.

Intricate guitar playing is not only hard but physically painful too. Advanced lead guitar with constant bends feels like pressing a knife edge under your fingers........but the reward for that is that it's a much more expressive instrument than the piano.
