Especially on The Redeemer and with Hype Williams, it falls better under post-R&B along with James Ferraro's NYC Hell, 3AM, or leftfield along with Yong Yong and Tuff Sherm. one of the few musicians who actually is saying something new. i love how his music has become a commentary on race, and perseptions on race with music. i think he also very aware and is commenting on the music industry and how hype works.
