Man, World Coming Down is probably an 8/10 or 9/10 album, but every time I listen to it, it's just so depressing and crushing that by the time you reach "All Hallows Eve" which is actually a pretty fun song, all emotion and energy is just drained to the point that even the metal-fied Beatles medly at the end can't pick me back up.
I can usually really enjoy depressing stuff too, and it's not like Type O's not capable or often a depressing band, it's just that there's something about the album that pulls you down so slowly and drains you, and not even in a way that with most albums might be an accomplishment because it almost doesn't feel like it was intended or at least intended to be that effective, or effective in that way.
