It's the 21nfth of the January

The point of these threads is to encourage people to look for new and interesting music. We do this by listening to and, ideally, discussing albums we've never heard before. Many of us already listen to new music daily; these people are in it to venture out of their comfort zone by listening to albums they otherwise wouldn't have, or just to have a good time.
We track our progress using calendars, which we fill with the albums we listen to on each day, and a rating of some sort for all of them. There are templates in mega link at the end of this post. We encourage you to write the albums' titles and the artists' names somewhere on your calendar. We don't have any tools for creating these calendars; we use simple image editing softwares.
You can predetermine a schedule for a month, or you can report back on whatever album you randomly picked every day. Many of us make our schedules interesting in various ways, popular ones being genre restrictions, new releases, and recs from the /daily/ community.

We used to do listen alongs, but we don't really have the time anymore. For this, we had a plug.dj room, which we still use occasionally to hang out for a little while. It's usually empty, so if you want to spend a little time there, post in the thread; there most likely will be someone up for it. You can find it here:

Anyone can start the threads, but usually one of /daily/'s dedicated trips starts them. If the thread is not yet up by 15:30 GMT, we encourage you to start it! Just be sure to use the standard OP. Of course you can start it earlier than that too you disgusting pleb

This was so weird, I loved it but I don't know how I feel about it. Is the plan even something? The narrative was engaging and the lyrics were very well written, but do they mean anything? It was pretty 2deep4me but I still enjoyed it a lot.

modal soul was enjoyable. ive listened to metaphorical music so i was kinda expecting it to not actually be instrumental hip hop. i wonder why so many people consider it to be, i guess because thats all that nujabes does the rest is features. but i havent seen instrumental versions of his albums (not that i would want them). although i kinda wanted an instrumental album going in and i dont really like the features that much i think the point of them is that the music would get really dull. thought this album was roughly equal in quality to metaphorical music. above average good but not very special, very few tracks are memerable.

didnt pay attention to what tracks were what.
