 Listened to the leak. Many of the songs sound unfinished—which could be that the are just that—or also, like what >>52980351 said, half-hearted b-sides.
It feels like she was still pursuing some things that interested her from Biophilia, such as the atonal harmonies heard early in “Dark Matter” which return in “Lionsong”.
You can definitely hear the influence of Arca & HC in the work, which is good. The problem is that the melodies just never seem to really rise above any others in significance. There's an overall sense of a quiet, poem being sung to you throughout the album. This certainly isn't an album of singular hits or catchy anything, but a quiet, introspective walk through relationships, love, and emotion, with some decent bridges provided by the wonderfully-beaty producers.
