My favorite album is Master of Reality, followed closer by Heaven and Hell, that little guy is based.

Heaven And Hell really didn't have any good songs except Neon Knights and Lady Evil. Children Of The Sea is possibly one of the worst Sabbath songs ever.

I saw DIO live when i was 15 yo, I could not believe he was 58 yo at the time, extremely good singer.

DIO was a nice change of pace for the band. A lot of Sabbath neophytes give Ozzy waaaaay too much credit. All Ozzy did was sing the lyrics Geezer Butler wrote (which were pretty awesome) but Ozzy had little creative influence in the band.

Dio on the other hand wrote most of the lyrics during the Heaven and Hell era, and it was fucking awesome.

I like Ozzy era Sabbath, but just because it was the formative Sabbath. Dio Sabbath is sooooooo rad.

The album Heaven and Hell feature the most beautiful Sabbath songs ever made, and some of the most beautiful rock and roll songs ever. The album features Tony's best solos and Geezer's best bass lines. Truly a remarkable record. Lonely is the Word is one of the most hauntingly beautiful songs I have ever heard, it ranks pretty high up there along with Priest's Beyond the Realms of Death.

Ozzy wouldnt have been able to pull off any of the vocals on that album.

The grim vibe that dio gave to black sabbath is cool in Dehumanizer, and his solo album Lock Up the Wolves is dark and slow too.

Well...Dio loved his witches-and-warlocks schtick since the Rainbow days in the 70s, but as the 80s was beginning, it happened to coincide with then-contemporary pop culture trends.

Also during the album tour, Dio sang all of the back catalog like a boss. He in fact could sing Ozzy's songs better than Ozzy.

I have seen Black Sabbath live and I have seen Heaven and Hell live. It was awesome seeing the old crew back together again (minus bill ward of course) and they sounded pretty good. Really good, actually. One of the best shows I've ever been to.

Heaven and Hell was really good too though and Dio was one of the most beautiful musicians ever put on this Earth. I remember I was in Army basic training when I read of his passing, and it really bummed me out.

I don't think I will really give a shit when Ozzy dies, because he is kind of a piece of shit. It really bums me out to think that Tony will die before Ozzy, and that cunt of a woman Sharon Osbourne will try to capitalize off his death...

Geezer Butler and Tony Iommi have always been the backbone of Black Sabbath. I fucking hate sharon

Heaven & Hell was like...it wasn't really Sabbath anymore, more like The Dio Experience. Iommi, the riff master, also seems to have a hard time coming up with anything on this album and instead relies on Butler to carry the thing (he compensates by ramping up the solos).
