For popular albums, what.cd is faster (almost instantaneous) but slsk is still fast. At that point, the speed is insignificant.

For obscure albums, slsk wins in every way.

The organization doesn't really bother me as long as I can see the file stats like kbps and whatnot. If you enter your search properly you won't get a thousand results. Wishlisting on slsk for the most obscure albums is also really fun.

On what.cd, people have to take the painstaking time of uploading every single release individually and then having it scrutinized or even deleted later. On slsk, a music collector can share their ENTIRE library with a few clicks. The results are pretty significant. Slsk is just a haven of those under-appreciated releases.

I've thought about keeping a list of stuff I know isn't on what.cd and I got in good quality from slsk so I could upload it all for ratio, but I honestly don't care because my ratio is already fine and I barely use what.cd anyway. The only time I really use what.cd is during freeleeches.
