>>52721720>http://www.recitalprogram.com/a-turn-of-breath/hell yes I was just looking at this earlier today and was pissed that there's no good way to get the album in physical format
>>52722018Yeah. I've been stalking discogs but twice now, by the time I get my want list email alert, the record is already sold.
>>52721720one of 2014's bestfor those that aren't aware, it's Julia Holter: Manly Edition
bumping for one of the best records of 2014. I have a physical copy but I really wish I had gotten the first, special pressing.
>>52722430oh that fuschia bone infusion would've been so pretty. I just want to see what it looks like.
>>52722711Can't take pictures right now but I can confirm it's beautiful.Glad to see a thread about this album, one of my favorites of last year.
I'm really surprised this album didn't get more hype. Easily one of the best of 2014, and possibly one of my favorite ambient records of all time. I've been itching for more stuff like Red Gate With Starling and Rooms since I first gave it a listen
>>52722780Post it at some point if you want to make an anon jealous.
McCann confirmed that Ian William Craig will have a 2015 release. Also, if you guys are new to Recital, check out Sean McCann. The Capital, Sincere World, and Music for Private Ensemble are all GOAT. His recent collab with Maxwell August Croy was pretty great as well.
>>52722920oh shit, Julia Holter & Ian William Craig both in the same yeardis gon b gud
>>52722920Yeah. McMann is great. I haven't delved in deeply enough yet. >>52722941No kidding. Gearing up.
>>52721720Ended up listening to that live show on that page, this guy should be way more well known.
>>52723456yeah that one is incredibleI hope he ends up getting Recital some attention from publications other than TMT. I'd love to see McCann get some recognition for all of his work.
