Might want to revoke that, actually. I drew the parallel on both band's love of drugs and constant change of lineups, and the success they found in the earlier stages of their career (Transmissions to Yoshimi Lips, Sabbath to Sabotage Sabbath) before they eventually fell off for a bit when no one cared (War of the Mystics-era Flips, Never Say Die-era Sabbath) before making a new album that everyone loved (Heaven and Hell Sabbath, Embryonic Flips) and then settling down to make average/good music for the rest of their career.
The one part where the parallel doesn't work is the Flip's 80s punk career, though, so I guess it is a bad comparison. Oh well, still managed to make you mad :^).

Wonder and West I paired because of the relation to soul. Career arcs didn't really play a factor here, I was just going off the themes and the production of the music alone.
I'll leave you guessing on AaL, though ;^)
