>>52093634>kill urself my boykill urself my man
>>52095270kill urself fool
So this guy has some kind of mental illness right?
Yo is someone fucking with his releases somehow or did he seriously release an album of tempo changed (vaporwave as fuck) tracks off "You'll Cowards" playing through his speakers? Look up Piece of Mind on Spotify.
post favorite viper trackshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvz7nWbQruITo be entirely honest I consider Viper to be outsider music and think he should be legitimized. Like he might be the first explicitly hip-hop outsider musician, but I'm mostly ignorant about the genre so I may be missing someone.>>52095359Probably not. He just seems to be a bit delusional or has a lot of free time on his hands and is trying to make a quick buck.>>52095454>this joker isn't aware of DJ Screw and his influence on the Houston rap scene
>>52095540lol I love DJ Screw but this is not the same thing at all. There's no chopping or screwing going on, dude literally changed the tempo, not the speed. The pitch is the same. It sounds like he laid a contact mic on his subwoofer. The whole thing is really intriguing from an outsider music perspective but usually it's easier to tell if that shit is intentional or not. I can't tell if he's lazily releasing stuff to get more plays/purchases or if he's actually attempting some sort of artistic experimentation.

>>52095616I'm probably mistaken, but I thought the idea of outsider music was that it's unconventional just because of the musician is weird/untrained, rather than being an artist who is trying out different stuff. Like viper, if he is an outsider artist, wouldn't consider the weird shit he does "experimentation", he way he works just kind of make it turn out like that.
>>52095616>It sounds like he laid a contact mic on his subwoofer. I know what you mean, he has a lot of "Futuristic Space Age Remix" albums though. Some are screwed tracks. Viper never chops. A lot of them turn out that way though. Or it might just be a lazy attempt to imitate DJ Screw. Or it might just be a lazy attempt at "remixing" lolEither way, they are Futuristic Space Age Remixes. That is what they are.>I can't tell if he's lazily releasing stuff to get more plays/purchases or if he's actually attempting some sort of artistic experimentation. It's obviously the former but at the same time he's putting money into things like MTV airtime and videos (he has two, one actually has -some- production value). Viper is a mystery.
>>52095694it's both; lack of training or knowingly disregarding the rules. seems like he might be both as well
Viper would be good if he actually tried to rap well
>>52095733huh interesting. I guess it's time for me to do some reading on outsider art
>>52093617>1 million vipers but only 1 viper>1 million vipers but only 1 vipa
>>52094345its up to u to create this
>>52095733Knowingly disregarding the rules doesn't make one an outsider artist. Outsider art is people who have no training. Outsider artists don't try to be outsider artists, they just are.
