Woke up this morning and decided I should try Vaporwave. Started with Floral Shoppe and found this through recommendations. Any recs on good vaporwave?

it's a good album and I've listened to it 5 times now but it's also way too drawn out in the middle tracks and the opening is kinda stereotypical post-90s shoegaze. But the jammy parts are pretty great

I loved the opening, but that's probably because I love mbv. Amsterdam and Rulons and second half of Swarm were great, as well. The rest of the album is just fluff in what could have been an innovative album. Also, does anyone have a 320kbps version of Ujubasajuba? I can only find the v0 from their bandcamp.

I'm mad about having to shower today for Thanksgiving dinner.

What exactly is so satisfactory about the albums production? Any specific examples or does it just "sound good" because it's drowned in reverb and fuzz

No smartass. Obviously the band got surfaced from that front page review. Then from there people started to talk about it.

Also, I admit washing an album in reverb doesn't save it if it's already shitty. But that's not my argument. My argument isn't that the album's production covered up the songwriting, my argument is that the albums production completes the songwriting. Alot of albums are reliant on it's production for it's full sound. I mean, would people be talking about Loveless if that didn't have it's fantastic production?

Anyways, what I found satisfactory about the production is mostly the guitar textures during the faster parts.

You may say it completes the songwriting but the songwriting is shit and drawn out to begin with. So it is literally complementing shit?And it's as if some 70s classic rock psych band played their songs a little longer and added fuzz.
