Lyrically I think they all fit the bill and have been considered as such by pop culture since their rise and fall from prominence; "emo pop" used to be a thing, y'know. Most of the popular nu-metal bands during the 00s are still kickin'. Any of the mainstream emo bands that hadn't broken up by the 10s had long since moved onto a different sound. The same could be said for nu-metal, but I don't think there's much of a revival sentiment amongst its crowd as there is with emo. I agree with the braggadocio shit however.
