If I were you I wouldn't bother with my opinion that my favorite XTC album is Go 2, it's simply my preference. Drums & Wires is objectively the better of the two.

In my eyes, Go 2 is the transition album between when XTC was a punk-ish pop band (White Music) to full blown new wave (D&W). I really like mix of the two and it's part of what makes Go 2 the album I most enjoy when I get into an XTC kick.

I'd say their best is between D&W and English Settlement. However, Go 2 and The Big Express are probably the two most criminally underrated albums in their discography.
