My favorite post-rock band is GY!BE, so I'd go ahead and listen to all their releases if you liked Skinny Fists.

A really underrated 2nd-wave album is Le Fly Pan Am's "Ceux Qui Inventent N'ont Jamais Vecu". It's a little on the artsy side, but the songs are groovy as fuck, and there is an excellent emphasis on atmosphere.
