Hey OP I got dumped by my longterm GF about a year ago for the guy she cheated on me with earlier in the relationship.
My advice to you (unsolicited I admit) would be that it will take a long time to get over it and there's not much you can do to speed it up. As time goes on she will just pop up in your head less and less.

it's painful regardless. obviously everyone deals with sad shit in their own way, and no one can tell you how you should feel or act after something happens to you..in my opinion feeling it and dealing with it is better than trying to ignore it and block it out, that's just generally an unhealthy thing to do, but deal with it your own way nahmean?
