ITT: you post your most prized physical copy of music.
It's really not much, but it was limited to 500 like 6 years ago and I got a sealed copy like 2 months ago for $40 on a fluke. Seller did not know it was limited. It was something special opening it.
sides C and D are black but side D is just a machine etching of the album art. will post.

Got Windowlicker and Come to Daddy, got Find Candace, got a few uncommon records. I also spent some money on cheaper shit that I knew wasn't that rare but that I liked anyway: the original Jesus Christ Superstar record, etc.
In that spirit, I found a used copy of F#A#Infinity by GY!BE kicking around on Hastings. No images, no details, just said "used," and for like fifteen bucks. I liked the album so I bought it and didn't think twice about it. Now I'll have a vinyl backup of it as a novelty.
It comes in the mail and the package is a bit heavier than expected. I open it and there's all this crap in the vinyl sleeve--handbills, pictures, a flattened penny. The record is clean but has shit scratched into it. I do some research and it turns out I accidentally bought one of the original five hundred pressings of the album. I own a tiny piece of music history.

No pictures because I moved and it's in storage. It's one of my most prized music possessions. |
